Library and Retail

Volume and Special Orders

Called To Swim is available online through on-demand digital print and fulfillment partners that can be accessed through calledtoswim.com or directly on their individual sites.

Volume orders for channel distribution or special orders such as library editions may be initiated through the contact form on this site and are subject to the general guidelines and policies on this page as updated from time to time and the individual terms negotiated for each deal. Naaman House Publishing may aggregate orders to meet print run minimums in various formats including hardback, paperback and CD-ROM.

Library Orders

A Library edition of Called To Swim will be made available as demand warrants. Libraries interested in carrying this title in any format should enquire about availability using the contact form on this site.  A certain number of surplus copies from each order will be held in reserve as make-goods on books damaged in transit, or to replace those lost or damaged in normal circulation. These latter surplus copies may be purchased by current library customers on a first-come-first-serve basis. Despite the foregoing, Naaman House Publishing does not accept responsibility to replace or carry inventory for replacement of circulating media, regardless of format. Digital Audiobooks and eBooks will be distributed on demand through our on-demand partners.

Retail Orders

Retail orders for all formats are printed in runs of 200 or more copies and may take between 60 and 90 days to deliver. If a store or chain is ordering fewer than 200, its order will be held until additional orders can be aggregated to the minimum (or these smaller orders may be added to a concurrent order of a qualifying volume). All retail order inquiries are to be made through the contact form on this site. Please allow 5 business days for a response to each inquiry.

     Replacements

Naaman House Publishing will ship inventory as expeditiously as possible. The publisher will print and hold in reserve certain surplus copies from each print run as make-goods. Retailer will inspect inventory upon receipt and will immediately submit photographic and other evidence documenting damaged shipping containers and damaged inventory. The publisher will immediately replace all copies damaged in transit. Retailer shall return damaged copies if requested by publisher.

     Disposition of Unsold Inventory

Naaman House Publishing is not responsible for a retailer’s over-purchasing. That said, we will work with the retailer, at our sole discretion, to move unsold inventories to the best advantage of both retailer and publisher. While the publisher only recommends a retail price (see each product’s ISBN), we reserve the right to adjust retailer’s purchasing price for future inventories or adjust any prenegotiated buybacks to compensate for any perceived market damage related to retailer’s discounting or other aggressive promotions. That said, the latter activities may be approved in a mutually determined inventory reduction or marketing campaign approved in an advance written authorization from the publisher.
